Gulf Ethanol - What is it all about?
We are pressed for time today, so there will not be a detailed post. However, we have noticed that a Pink Sheets company call Gulf Ethanol (GFET.PK) has been doing a great deal of advertising regarding the stock of their company, which interests us. Is it a worthy company? Is this another pump and dump? We will be taking a look at this company, which now trades at $1.45, over the next few days...stay tuned.

I have to say that your blog is very informative. When I started trading it was difficult to understand how to trade and what to trade on, I found a useful set of quick training guides which helped a lot. They were free to view and took about 5 minutes to check out.

I looked this company up, and my preliminary research yields very worrying signs. Coming from a private equity background, I noted the following:
1) It doesn't seem like the founders invested any funds; instead, they are "loaning The Company...at 6% interest per year callable at any time" (2007 Annual Report). This is worrying as hell; don't you, as the executives, trust your company? Correct me, please, if I'm wrong on this statement.
2) http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/scripts/getcase.pl?court=5th&navby=case&no=0120079cv0&exact=1. It seems their CEO was held on charges of wire fraud and bank fraud to name a few. This is a red flag that makes me suspicious.
Has anyone called their offices for a personal remark?
Can you please elaborate more on your article. However comments on commodity which I read on www.askamarkettechnician.com tells a different story.
